Charlotte Kingsnorth is a London-based designer whose work blends functionality with sculpture. Her work incorporates mixed materials such as pre-existing furniture - whole or disassembled, carved logs, leather, dense textiles, ceramic, cast iron, and patinated lichen-like bronze. Exploring the intersection between the real and the synthetic world, she likes to question reality as we know it, “I’m interested in how we as humans process things through association, and like to mess with that”.

Kingsnorth is a graduate of the Royal College of Art’s design products programme and runs a London-based practice, working with private clients, galleries, brands and global institutions, including, Fendi, SHOWstudio, Tyler The Creator, Christies, ASAP Rocky, The Crafts Council, The V&A, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Holon Design Museum, Triennale Design Museum and Saatchi Gallery. She has shown in design fairs at Nomad in Monaco, St. Moritz and Capri, Design Miami, New York, London, Paris and Milan, with The Future Perfect, Etage Projects, Side Gallery and had her first solo show with Objective Gallery in New York on 2023, and has work in the permanent collection at Turkey’s Odunpazari Modern Museum. She is currently representation by Gallery Fumi in London.
